The Bike Brigade partners with many Mutual Aid organizations, non-profits and independent partners across the city. Delivering everything from food to art therapy supplies, we have formed partnerships with groups doing incredible work from within the communities we love.

Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services (Access Alliance) provides services and addresses system inequities to improve health outcomes for the most vulnerable immigrants, refugees, and their communities. Access Alliance provides accessible, community-governed, inter-professional primary health care services, including health promotion, illness prevention and treatment, chronic disease management, and individual and community capacity building. Their goal is for all people who face barriers to good health to have access to high quality primary health care within an integrated system of care.

 
Community Fridges Toronto (CFTO) is a volunteer-driven, Toronto-based community initiative with a network of fridges and pantries that offer free food to combat food insecurity. The mission of the Allan Gardens Food Bank is to provide nutritious food for members of their community struggling with food insecurity while supporting the wider food bank network endeavoring to end hunger and poverty throughout the city. They create a safe and compassionate environment for all people to collect much-needed food.

For more than 85 years, they’ve offered a wide variety of supportive programs and services to a diverse range of community members living in Regent Park, Moss Park, Cabbagetown, St. James Town and surrounding neighbourhoods, as well as to homeless individuals and people searching for employment from across the city.

The Encampment Support Network (ESN) is an ad-hoc, volunteer-run network of neighbours building community and supporting people living in encampments in Toronto. Since June, their volunteers have visited encampments daily to deliver basic supplies, such as water and tents, ice, sleeping bags, fire safety equipment, and snacks.

Community Connect Toronto (CCT), formerly East Toronto Food Coalition, is a non-profit organization established in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since their inception, CCT and their partners have proudly served 2000 families and 12k individuals with a daily, volunteer run, delivery and pick up system; entirely with in-kind direct donations so far.

 
FoodShare aims to centre food justice in their work by collaborating with and taking their cue from those most affected by poverty and food insecurity — Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, People with Disabilities. Their goal is to inspire long-term solutions for a food system where everyone has access to affordable, fresh, nutritious food. They reach over 260,000 people each year.

They have been safely reaching out to hundreds of neighbours and checking in on them to see what material and social support is needed and sharing what they have, purchasing and delivering food and medicine, and providing emotional and mental health support. They are building trust, care, and commitment with zero judgement.

Greenest City builds healthy, inclusive neighbourhoods through education and empowerment to preserve, protect and improve the environment. They are dedicated to growing good food, sharing good food and connecting people with community and the environment.

 
The Parkdale Community Food Bank (PCFB) sits in the well-known Parkdale-High Park area. Since 2007, it's been their mission to provide nutritious food for community members. Their mission is to ensure access to barrier free food, with choice, dignity and respect for all.

Maggie's: The Toronto Sex Workers Action Project is an organization run for, and by, local sex workers. Their mission is to provide education, advocacy and support for sex workers to live and work with safety and dignity. Maggie's was founded on the belief that sex workers must take the power to control their own destinies and lives.

The People’s Pantry was founded by predominately WQTBPOC folx, graduate students at UofT and YorkU, and community organizers. From a small beginning of 6 people, they’ve grown to a team of hundreds of volunteers. Together with their Sister Initiative, they have collectively delivered tens of thousands of meals and grocery care packages to food-insecure families in Toronto, the Greater Toronto-Hamilton Area, and beyond.
